Bio
Spencer Douglas blends indie pop and folk, often drawing comparisons to artists like Young the Giant and Vance Joy. Growing up in Eau Claire, WI, he was shaped by a supportive local music scene and the guidance of mentors who helped him along the way. That community spirit has been a driving force in his music, leading to the release of his debut EP, Princess Charming, which has gained over 200,000 streams on Spotify.
Now studying Entrepreneurship and the Music Industry at the University of St. Thomas, Spencer is sharpening his skills in songwriting, music production, and the business side of the industry. He’s also interned with two management companies, learning the ropes of artist relations, promotion, and booking—knowledge he plans to use both in his own career and to help others.
Recently, Spencer dropped his latest single, Grow With Me, through The 480 Collective, a student-run record label he co-founded at his university. This project furthered his commitment to creating a collaborative space for young artists, emphasizing the community-driven approach that’s been instrumental to him.
Looking ahead, Spencer is focused on making music that connects with people while continuing to give back to the community that’s supported him.
